About Our Licensed Educators
Elizabeth Cuzner -Director, & Kindermusik Maestro
Elizabeth began her Kindermusik teaching the fall of 2004. She has a BS
degree in Special Education with a vocal emphasis and 23 hours of graduate
work towards an MED in Behavior Disorders and Autism. Elizabeth spent 5
years teaching elementary school before her children were born, and now
continues her classroom teaching as a substitute teacher at Oakhill Day
School when she has a free moment. Elizabeth’s youngest son, Colin, is
enrolled in the Kindermusik program, and proudly her oldest, Matthew, has
graduated the 7 year program. Elizabeth and the Kindermusik at LUMC
program have earned prestigious Maestro status during the Spring of 2008,
earning them a spot in the top 5% of all Kindermusik programs world wide!
Elizabeth Baldwin--Licensed Educator/Administrative Assistant
Elizabeth began teaching Kindermusik classes in the summer of 2008. She
has a BFA in Theatrical Performance, with a collateral field in vocal music.
Elizabeth became a professional actress in the regional circuit and also
enjoyed touring with children's shows for several seasons. She has also
performed numerous voice-overs for radio and television. Elizabeth married
her wonderful husband, Nick, in 2004. In 2007, they welcomed their first son,
Asher, who is also a Kindermusik student! Elizabeth is happy to join the
program as a teacher while continuing her work as the Kindrmusik
administrative assistant.
Brenda Lazenby - Licensed Educator
Brenda became a licensed educator the Summer of 2007 and has begun
teaching Kindermusik at LUMC the Fall of 2008. She began studying piano at
the age of 5 and received vocal training while attending school. She
graduated from Liberty High School in 1991 and went on to received a
Bachelors of Business Administration from UMKC in December 1996. At her
church, she continues to be involved in several children's programs and
music ministries as well as proudly serves as a member of the Sunday
Morning Praise Team. Brenda married her husband, Steve, in 2002 and has a
beautiful daughter, Katelyn, born in 2005, who has been enjoying Kindmusik
since she was 18 months old.
